Dr. David Emojong is the current Programs and Partnerships Director for I Choose Life – Africa (USA). David has vast experience in small molecule drug discovery having worked on projects related to HIV/AIDS, cancer, diabetes, and hypertension research. He previously worked as an Organic Synthetic Chemist with CalbioChem NovabioChem and ChemBridge Research Laboratories in San Diego, California before going back to pursue graduate work in health care. He attended the famed St. Patrick’s High School – Iten (home of the long distance junior world champions) where his close contacts with the Patrician Brothers who ran the school and later being on staff with the Navigators inspired and helped shape a vision and life of servanthood in him. He has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry/Zoology graduating with Honors from Egerton University – Njoro, Kenya. A Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry from California State University – Sacramento. A Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Washington University of Health and Sciences having done his course work at the University of California – Davis School of Medicine. He recently completed an MPH degree from the Milken Institute School of Public Health at The George Washington University DC. David enjoys teaching and he currently teaches introductory Chemistry (adjunct) to health care majors interested in pursuing careers in medicine, dentistry, physical therapy and nursing at Sierra College, Rocklin California.
