I Choose Life – Africa (ICL) is a youth-centered organization dedicated to empowering young people and transforming communities across Kenya and Africa. Through our 2024–2028 strategic framework, we focus on six pillars that holistically address the needs and potential of youth

1. Health Youth
We promote access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services and mental health support. Our programs aim to reduce new HIV infections, prevent gender-based violence, increase contraception uptake, and improve mental health literacy among 100,000 young people.

2. Learning and Innovative Youth
We support inclusive and equitable quality education by increasing school enrollment, improving literacy and numeracy, and enhancing STEM education. We empower teachers, support learners with resources, and help students transition innovations into viable enterprises.

3. Environment and Climate Resilient Youth
We champion sustainable environmental practices by planting and growing one million trees, transitioning households to better waste management, and promoting clean energy through the adoption of electric boda-bodas in 10 model counties.

4. Employable and Entrepreneurial Youth
We equip youth with skills for employment and entrepreneurship through mentorship, and training. We target to transition 10,000 youth from micro to medium enterprises, improving income, savings, and job creation.

5. Responsible Citizenry Youth
We foster responsible citizenship by training youth in leadership, supporting voter registration, and enhancing governance through leadership vetting, social audits, and anti-corruption campaigns. We aim to involve 100,000 youth in building a transparent and accountable Kenya.

Through our Kenya Mpya platform kenyampya.co.ke , we promote accountability by publishing performance scorecards of elected leaders based on the Auditor General’s reports. This empowers citizens to make informed decisions and demand transparency from their leaders.

6. Safe and Spiritually Grounded Youth
We empower youth to be safe, resilient, and spiritually grounded by training them in safety skills, child protection, and religious grounding. We promote holistic growth through talent development, values education, and spiritual mentorship.
